Road Trip Playlist

Road Trip Playlist - Confession Girl

It’s Friday again and that means ‘get your groove on‘ again. This weekend I’m going on a road trip to the river, which means I want a chill-sing-out-loud-gender-friendly playlist. Hope you love our ‘road trip playlist’ full of  sweet tunes.

1. Riptide – Vance Joy
All I have to say is there’s an actual VHS in the video! It’s like a history lesson, HA! Well okay this tune is just so catchy I can’t stop listening to it. Hope you love it too.

2. Mr. Jones – Counting Crows
How can you not love this man’s voice? I recently saw Counting Crows in concert and his voice just blew me away. So, here’s an oldie and catchy tune for the weekend.

3. California Wasted – Toad the Wet Sprocket
Another voice that gives me chills, or as Jennifer Lopez would say, “Goosies”. This awesome 90’s band released it’s first album in 16 years and let me tell you, go out and buy it. You will not regret it. I’ll be sitting on a boat with my headphones hitting replay a few times. Let me know what you think of this song.

4. Shot At The Night – The Killers
The beginning of this song reminds me of the 80’s. Then the catchy lyrics just makes me wish I could sing, however that won’t stop me from singing this song out loud. Sorry people in the car, but we’ll be turning this up to 10!

5. The Moment – Toad the Wet Sprocket
Amazing live and selfishly I wanted to add another Toad song to this playlist.
